CPU Score in 3DMark 03

Hi!
I got an Athlon XP 2000+ and 3DMark reversion 6 build 0. It gives 73 CPU Marks. And the old reversion 4 build 0 gives 298 CPU Marks. I haven't over cloked the CPU and the system cfg is same. So anyone have an idea why I get so different CPU Marks?

don't know... 1st off with out going into to much detail 3dmark03 ubber sucks as a benchmark and compairison tool I rarely use it.... you can better rely on pcmark, 3dmark05, 3dmark 2001se

Ok.... With that said I'd assume you may have program, or spyware running in the back ground useing up resouces wich affects your scores during the test.... I'd close any open programs and any running minumised in the taskbar before testing ... Also if you haven't I'd download adaware, spybot, spywareblaster and update and run those() 2 scanners and a blocker.)...

I'm using the new MS spyware beta and I have F-Secure Internet Security 2005, they have licenced AD-aware in it.... When I did those bencmarks there wasn't any extra programs in backgroud so I wonder if futeremark has modified the test...

I think that maybe they are trying to update their older benchmark to better reflect video card performance and newer CPU's for current and upcoming games. So in essence, to keep their benchmark from being entirely useless nowaday, they have a different weighted measure, and it comes up with older CPU's like yours and some of mines to perform less than their older versions.

when i run 3d mark o3 i get throught the first lot but wen it comes to the cpu bit it only does lik 2-3 fames a second

my problem is the same, but i have a 3400+ and im only getting cpu score of 165. that is way below average and i cant figure out why, i got new bios drivers and checked everything but still no solution to my problem..
