Interesting 3dmark2003 score on an older/slower PC.
MY PC's specs are below, and I get a score of 5800. When I hook my card up to a 2.4 GHz CPU, it goes to 6100. That's quite high for a Radeon 9800 Pro. I'm actually kinda surprised. lol. AND HAPPY! :
What do you think though makes my score THAT high even on a slower computer like mine. I saw a PC reviewed in PC Gamer that was an AMD FX-51, 1GB of RAM, and a radeon 9800XT gets only 6000? It's really quite strange, i think. Also, a GeForceFX 5900 256MB got only 4600 on an AMD AthlonXP 3000+?

3dmark03 or 05 isn't really CPU/MEMORY/ overall computer dependant at all, it's strickly video power....
no serprise at all

run 3Dmark01. That test is more CPU dependant than either 03 or 05.
