Low 3dmark01

I have a 3ghz cpu @ stock and a x850xt pe and I only get 19.5k in 3dmark01... Aquamark is fine, so are the other two 3dmarks but not this

Help? I just formatted

Did you forget that you can set up Triple Buffering in that test?

EEK you guys are both useing 875 chipsets LOL

useall over 22,000K here with my X800XL but have stuff
like folding a home etc still runing also so my results can't
be trusted

sandok what do you have you CP settings set to?
Try setting the slider on performance and see if that
helps... run only the game tests, loop it a couple times

Makesure your just after a fresh boot, close any unneeded
programs, make sure nothing is "running" in the back ground
be it spyware or a mssanger serive or anything can effect your
results

What triple buffering are you talkign about dyre?

The thing is i remeber with the 5.7/5.8 I got quite high scores.

Nothing is running in the background

And we don't all got money for the newer platorms mate.

Apart from 01, verything is spot on

Apart from 01, verything is spot on

Tripple buffering the the bechmarks settings, default is double,

Try your slider all the way over on the deafult for performance
see what it does for you.

EDIT

with the main slider on Peformance disables V sync by default
(sets it to always off)so that should take care of it

my score is in my sig. my rig scores almost 27k w/my chip OCed to 4Ghz and gfx card OCed to hell and back

you want to set your v-sync to off, and set your D3D and OpenGl settings to off like neon said. maybe installing the 5.9s would also help out some?

remember that 01 is also CPU intensive. a significant reason why my score is so high compared to yours, is because of my insane OC i had going on when i ran the benchmark. At stock speeds, i'd be scoring around around 20k as well on my rig

Maybe U might wanna go through your Bios options, and check stuff like U'r FSB, and make sure everything is correct. I can't help much though, as I've never owned an Intel Processor.

what the hell could be going on with my system now then.

the system is in my sig that im useing cpu is at 2.7ghz dual core AMD64
with X1800XT @ 700/800 with overdrive enabled.

you have got to remember though 3dmarks 2001se relies more on highfsb/htt and high cpu clocks compaired to high graphics cards.

if thats correct then shit i dont know what is going on with my system becuse im running 270HTTx10 = 2.7ghz

wonder what would happen if i upped my cpu to 2.8 like yours :o

It's normal don't get scared mate. A pentium M at those speeds just DESTROYS your AMD in tiny pieces when it comes to games.

that cpu he is useing is single core right ?
wait untill ATI release Dual core optimized drivers or amd shifts there ass`s and releases better dual core drivers.

put it this way my system would kill his under 2005 and 2003 3dmarks tests.
its just that 3dmarks 2001se is heavely cpu bound.

+ his cpu at the mo is 100mhz higher than mine
+ NVIDIA have already released dualcore optimized drivers

im still waiting LOL :P

You kill my 05, lol almost double it

my 03 is 15,500..

I know my cpu is quite a bit more powerful than yours when it comes to games, but i didn't think the difference would be that much.
