No OverClocking and I'm actually having to reduce the RAM from 800 MHz to 667 due to the motherboard.

But, this is my own personal high score to date:

hey guys i am intrested in seeing wat my comp. can do. also can anyone tell me how and where to get my 3d mark score? sorry but im a little newby when it comes to comps. i have an xps 700 2.4 core2 duo and a geforce 7950 gx2 nothing overclocked i just want to see wat kinda score id get> help?

One of the "improvements" in the new 3dmark06 v1.1.0 is that you must send the results to futuremark site to get the score - all you see after the benchmark is ugly "view results online" button instead of total/SM2.0/SM3.0/CPU scores (I did't find any option to enable the old behavior). This is really stupid feature...

A little bit of tweaking here and there and some ocing on the 8800 - 630/2000

Can get over 20k with 2 of these in vista ultimate, however SLI right now is a waste of time in Vista so ill stick with one.

Have you downloaded 3dmark06 from futuremark and installed it ok? just hit run 3dmark when you install it, the score comes up at the end.

Are you saying that just adding Vista Ul.Youre scores went up this much?We have pretty much the same rig as far as I can see....Looks like i'm gonna have to install Vista....Wheres the cheepest place to buy it?

No vista is no faster with 3dmark than XP, im just choosing to run vista at the minute on my gaming system.

It is hard for me to tell you the cheapest place to buy it as I live in Ireland but im sure if you look around the usual big USA stores online you can get some good prices.

Did you buy a 8800, you say our rigs are almost identical but I see in your system profile you are using an older board?

I guess it's a little confusing...my main gaming rig has the ASUS Striker X-Treme{there may be a newer board out now.With my mom being in the hospital so much here lately I havent kept up}The cards are 2 ASUS 8800GTX's.My other gaming rig runs the ASUS P5N32 SLi Premimum & 2 7950GX2's.

i haven't finished running the 3DMark tests since i don't have the patience,
perhaps you'd be able to guess my score if i told you my average FPS on the 3D tests was between 0 and 1?

yeah but every time i try to dl it from futuremark or one of their billions of mirrors the router dies and it's pissing me off no end

i just formatted my machine last night, and installed 3Dmark03/05/06, but the 06 test won't run for whatever reason. i've even reinstalled it, but as soon as i go to open/run it, it gives me an error. little help here please
