strange master volume bug

Hi
I have this problem with the 3537 version,
every time I launch an application that might need multimedia saccess
like outlook, an internet browser, games etc.
the master volume jumps to max

anyone has an idea to what it is?

what I found is that
under this subkey
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\DeviceClasses\{6994AD04-93EF-11D0-A3CC-00A0C9223196}\##?#PCI#VEN_1102&DEV_0002&SUBSYS_002 01102&REV_05#4&3A33F01C&0&48F0#{6994ad04-93ef-11d0-a3cc-00a0c9223196}\#kx_wave0 ...mixer\0
through
...\#kx_wave2 ...mixer\0

the kxmixer updates the current master volume by the slider movement
but when the master volume is changed by other application
it only updates #kx_wave0
