I installed and I'm using kX drivers 5.10.0.3528 on Windows XP Pro, they work fine, but I did it all AFTER having installed SP1.
Maybe the SP1 installation modified the MFC and MSVCRT libraries needed for kX? Did you try putting them back into Winnt\System32\ from the original archive?

System Specs

It works here (but I installed SP1 first, and then kX). Don't know why it happens.
Most probably debug libs are changed - try extracting them again.

Pissed Exchanged all MFC* MSVCRT* - DLLs but the same problem :(

I exchanged every DLL called MFC* MSVCRT* from a WinXP pro (-SP1) to my puter, but the problem still exists.

I even can install the driver manually, and the insatllation works perfectly, but if i dbl-click on the KX-Mixer Tray,
guess what ?? The same problem and the same message

So guys, as i have a huge VST-Collection and a huge Application-Installs on my puter, i know your recommendation to install
WinXP from scratch, but i won´t, because i spend a big amount of time to fit everything on my machine right now.

The only thing i am confused about is the folder named WinSXS which i traced via Regmon, while running the Setup.exe.

Are there any Registry-Entries which i should delete manually after uninstalling the kxmixer ??

You misunderstood our suggestion, notorius.
Go to http://kxproject.spb.ru/down.php?language=en and download the debug libraries you can find there, then extract them to the suggested directory (read the page).

I already installed the libs in system32

as i started to run the kxdriver on WinXP before i did the SP-1, and it runned fine.

I am woking with the KX-Driver over half a year but AFTER the SP-1, the setup even wont start if i delete the libs (you know the Message: ...cannot install.......download lib-package...bla bla....

but if i put the DLLs back again the same Debug Message appears.

One suggestion (only one I can come up with) - wait for 3529 and hope it will fix this problem.

Notorius, the only other thing I can suggest you to try is: go back and start from scratch. That is:

- uninstall the kX drivers; reboot;
- reinstall the SP1; reboot;
- reinstall the kX libs;
- reinstall the kX drivers; reboot.

As already reported, I use WinXP Pro with SP1 and every available Microsoft update, and the kX drivers 3528 and the kX mixer work fine here (except for the soundfont velocity problem reported in a different thread).

Bad News

I did what u told me.........

didnt´t work either, i guess something is wrong with the registry, cause the files are ok (i checked the versions manually)

Hmmm, the joke on the whole stuff is, i installed the driver manually and i can use Cubase now with KXAsio.
i even can change the latency and the only thing that i can choose is KX-Remote, load/save settings, reset buffers, help, and generate guid from the KX-Tray............any other thing causes a crash and the usual Debug window.

Any further recommendation ??
