Peculiar AC97 behavior...
It seems AC97 sometimes jams so that it wont obey DSP, but instead outputs everything directly even if u separate connections in DSP! also AC97 sliders wont have any effect on it when on "jammed" state. This only affect AC97 part... not I2S. Also AC97 reset returns normal working state. This is all i can say now about this possible bug, i will experient more. Anybody else knows which might cause it or had similar experiences?

It all depends on your settings.
AC97 has a few different pathways into the DSP, and to your speakers. i.e. AC97 Recording Source. -- Enabled via the drop down box on the 'AC97' page, and the AC97 Recording slider on the 'Recording' page of kXmixer (or ProFX : ADC). Used inside of epilog (or ProFX : ADC) in the DSP. AC97 monitoring (as used with the default DSP). -- Enabled via the drop down box on the 'AC97' page, and the AC97 slider on the 'Ins and Outs' page of kXmixer (or ProFX : ADC). Used by Prolog in the DSP (or ProFX : ADC). Direct to the speakers (which speakers, depends on codec settings, but generally analog front). -- Enabled via the sliders (MIC/Line In, etc) on the 'AC97' page of kXmixer (or ProFX : ADC)).
