Bass Redirection not working for 5.1 Source Audio

My basic problem is that my Bass Redirection does not work for 5.1 source audio (I'm using a video to test it). For some reason, it only plays the specific LFE channel sound out of my sub even though I have my Surrounder set to Bass Redirect at 200Hz.

Now, when I set my audio to 2.0, the bass is correctly redirected using the Surrounder Effect Bass Redirection (When I turn it off the extra bass does indeed go away). However, while outputting 5.1 sound, my Surrounder is not redirecting any bass. It only plays what signals are directly intended for the LFE channel.

Can anyone think of any reason why that might be or how I could fix it?
