getting strange sounds with bpm studio
hello people,
i use winxp sp1 with all patches, a athlon 800mhz and 2 sblive with kx audio driver. i experienced a problem with bpm studio pro 4.6 (and others). in some cases if a song is loaded into one player and i search for a specific point with the forward and rewind keys (f5 and f6), then let the song play from this point and now changing the pitch, this real obscure sound occures, it's like *drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr* all the time. the sound is only in the player (1st soundcard), NOT in the monitor (the 2nd soundcard). it's only with some mp3s, with other not. how can i debug that for you guys? thx in advance, soenke. I have two cards
I am using two SB 5.1 cards with winxp and the current KX download, I think its 8029, no noise during game playing or audio, hmmmm, havent tried the mp3 stuff yet. can you download the SDK's and fiddle with it. You can go to the website and review issues, also you can email them, just can't remember the URL. I went to two sound cards because I like to experiment with it, why did you?

hmm, because i need 2 channels for bpm studio, one for the 2 players and one for pre-listening monitor (headphones) - are you a developer of kX?
