VOL_CTRL Win2k not working

Thank you all for your work - kx is great!
I've connected two buttons to the VOL_CTRL pins on my CT4760. With Windows XP, it is working fine, but not under Windows 2000. I've tried 3536,3537 and 3538 - nothing. With the original Creative drivers, it works... but they are useless for me.
With KX drivers, I can see the OSD-Volume-Bar for one short time when I press a button for the first time - and that's all. Afterwards, when I press a button again, nothing happens. This seems to be a specific Windows 2000 (SP4) problem.
My system:
CT 4760,
Win 2k SP4 german
P3/350, 256MB RAM
DirectX 9
everything else is working fine...

Do you have any idea what to try next?

greetings from Germany,

Felix
