No Sound In HD Video Playback.
When I try to play HD Videos with Windows Media Player there is no sound. If I use Quicktime to play the video's the sound works. Only problem is that most HS videos are in .wmv format not .mov Has anyone else had this problem?

ok - me again....
First I assumed you meant you have a Audigy 2 ZS Gamer - I never seen an Audigy Z2..?? I use KX as well - make sure your windows (Control Panel - sounds and music devices) default *playback device* is 'KX Wave 0/1' (sounds like yours is set to KX WAVE HQ instead) if that works I can give other possible work arounds. I notice MUCH lower volumes when I use Wave HQ and need to almost double my amps volume when I use the P16V for output. Oh and make sure the 'P16V > I2S' and 'P16V > SPDIF' connections have green dots in the KX 24/96 router. |

in WMP, open the options menu and select the "Devices" tab
Double click the "Speakers" option and enable 24bit Audio perhaps that will help EDIT: also make sure "WaveHQ" is the output you are using in that same dialog
