problem with installation

Who knows how to install newest kX driver on Win98 SE? Previously I had installed kX 3520 and it worked fine. Now I have downloaded and installed kX 3528 and after _every_ reboot, Windows hangs or I see message about bad installed driver and about reinstallation. When I try to install version 3520 instead, the message is as I described above, every reboot too. So I cannot install any version of kX driver now... Card is CT4832 Value. uninstall the drivers completely (kxsetup --clean)

re-install directx 8.0 or 8.1

re-install Windows WDM Audio subsystem (remove and re-install 'system' devices such as 'kernel streaming' and so on -- they are 'hidden' in the control panel -> system -> device manager)

I have done this all, but no effect. In the Device Manager the Driver filelist for kX 10k1 Audio - Model CT4832 Value is:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\CMAX20.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KXGUI.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KXAPI.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KXCTRL.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KXHELP.CHM
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KXMIXER.EXE
and the Resources are: Interrupt 11, I/O B800-B81F
For kX 10k1 Audio - Game Port the Driver filelist in unavailable, and the Resources are: I/O 1000-1007. Are all above values proper? /Przemek
