Sad KX will not install on my 2ZS notebook..

Hey, I am banned from the creative forums now, for "recommending militant action against creative personel", and I hate their drivers, my friends have been telling me nothing but great things about KX drivers.

But when I try to install them on my notebook, no matter how many times I do it, I go through the whole process, including driver installation, and restart, and they aren't installed.. What do i do!!

Help would be greatly appreciated, until then it's no games or music production for me..

Just to check, I am installing this after a fresh reformat, so there is not a trace of creative on here, is this correct? I should not have any drivers whatsoever when I try to install?

windows *may* have a 'generic' driver - much like for SBLives/Audigy.. ?? - I would at least look in the Device manager to verify...

OK, I just tried the longwinded start in safe mode, individual chose coded driver etc. (rather than just install), now whenever i plug in the card, i get the deadly blue screen that has plagued me throughout my laptop soundcard fables..

i think it might be back to creative turbolag drivers..
