help! comp crashes whenever I try to play mp3's

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I downloaded the kx drivers the .25 ones. I tried to install them but I after restarting my computer It kept telling me that it could not intitialise my sound card. I have a sb live on a celeron 450 with win 98 SE. (I downloaded the lib files and the other file for win 98 SE).

So I decided I'd just go back to using my standard sblive drivers and thats where all my problems begin. It seems there was no uninstall file for the kx drivers so I manually delete every kx file in my windows system directory and then reinstall my sblive drivers.

Once this was done i tried to play an MP3 on winamp, winamp loads ok but as soon as I press play it hangs, after ctrl alt del killing the program my whole system will then hang (blue screen of death!)
I've tried 3 other music programs (traktor dj studio, Otsjuke, WMP) and they all hang as soon as they need to use the audio card.

Can anyone tell me how to completly uninstall all my sound card drivers ( sblive & kx drivers ) so that I can do a completley fresh installation? And also if anyone has any ideas on what is causing my system to crash!

"3525" was a very buggy release
please download 3528

you can easily remove the drivers by running 'kxsetup --clean' from the command line prompt
