Use the latest version of kX (currently 3538L), and if it does not auto-detect your model (I think it should), choose "kX 10k2 Audio ("3538") - Model SB0610". Make sure that you remove any previous versions of kX (use DriverCleaner) before installing the latest version.

3538L is a full install (not an upgrade like with 3538g/h) so you do not need to do anything special to install it. If I recall correctly, A4 support was initially added in 3538k, so 3538K is the minimum version that you would want to use.

You cannot change an input to an output (or vice-versa), but you can change which output is for front/rear/center/lfe, etc, and you can route any source (MIC, Line In, Wave, Synth, etc) to any output(s) you want.

To change any of the default routing, you will need to make a custom DSP setup. It is hard to provide a step by step answer for you, as the setup you would want to use, would depend on what speakers you want to use, and what other audio sources you want sent to those spekaers (as well as the other speakers), etc. (you would have to be very spefic as to what you want) It is best that you learn about the DSP, and learn how to create your own custom DSP setups that suit your needs (and save/load different DSP configurations as needed). You should probably start by reading the guide from the following thread to get a basic understanding of how the DSP works, and also read the kX Help.
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/effects-dsp/55649-newbie-guide-kxs-dsp-concept-how-setup-your-dsp.html

BTW: Download and install the latest ProFX package from the following thread (do not use the bundled ProFX plugins):
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/effects-dsp/70261-new-profx-3538-update-incl-mx6-ac97.html

Then use the ProFx:ADC plugin to access the MIC in the DSP (it makes things a lot easier).

Where is situated?
thx for help
Did you double click on the plugin to register it?

If you right click in the DSP window and choose "Add Effect/Plugin", one of the submenu's will be ProFx, this is where you will find the ADC plugin (some of the ProFx plugins will be added to the bottom of the menu as well (the general plugin area).

When following the guide (which was written for an older version of ProFx), use ADC in place of SRC plugins for any AC97 sources (Mic, Line In, etc).
