kx mixer checkboxes

hi,
a question about the checkboxes in the kx mixer.
why are they checked when i move with the mouse over them

sometimes i don't know about have i clicked them on or off.
i have to move the mouse away from them to see if they stays checked.
isn't it easyer if the only get checked when i clicked and get uncheck if i click again ???
(like windows checkboxes do)
