Headphones & Line-in Problem

Hi Guys!
I really hope someone can help me.
I have Soundblaster 2 ZS Notebook.
I have been using KX for 6 weeks or so now. But from the beginning I have a problem.

I downloaded KX for Crossovering my 5.1 system, and it is really working very good for me. I love those who invented KX!
My front speakers give the highest sound.

Here's my problem:
Everytime I connect my headphones to the headphones out, it gives the same (high) signal as my front speakers, but the DSP K2lt is set to Headphones.

Also, when I connect a device to my line-in it gives no actual input sound (even in the standard DSP) (it is detected by a "headphones, speaker and questionmark" sign though).

If you need further explaination, please ask.
I would be so happy if I could be helped. I make electro music since 18 months.

Analog input does not currently work with the a2zsnb and kX. As for the problem with your headphones, I do not know (what do you mean by "high" signal?).

Please read the 3538j/k/l Bug Reports threads (the first post in the 3538l Bug Reports thread has links to the other threads) for any known issues, and also try searching the full kX forum (i.e. start search from 'kX Project Audio Driver Support Forum' page) for 'a2zsnb'.

I have searched for a long time.

With High signal I mean the following:
I use three -4th order crossovers-, and the higher signal is routed to my frontspeakers, middle to rear, low to center, sub to subwoofer.

Do you have any clue when Input is going to be supported?

But thanks, I will search for a2zsnb.

And whats up with the No ac97 codec, is that normal with the a2zsnb?

Ok, that is what I thought you meant, but wanted to be sure... IIRC the headphone option that you see in k2lt is used with a LiveDrive only (i.e. headphone jack on LiveDrive). I am not sure how it is for the a2zsnb, but on my card, the headphone out is the same as analog front out (i.e. it is the same physical jack), so it would be normal to get the same signal as analog front. If it is same (I do not know if it is) with your card, this would mean that you would need to load a different config for use with headphones, if you want them to get the full range signal.

As for the analog inputs, it is not possible to give a time frame, as the information is not available on how to enable these inputs. It depends on when/if the information becomes available, etc.

As for the AC97 codec, there are codecs that provide similar functionality, so AC97 is not necessarly needed. I do not know a lot about the a2zsnb (and I do not have one), so I cannot answer all your questions, but there is some info in the forum (that is the only reason that I know anything about it). Most of the info is in the Bug Reports threads, but there is some info scattered here and there in the forum.
