No windows microphone mixer
With Kx Drivers installed, which I want for the low latency when working in Cubase, there's no "microphone" slider in the windows mixer. I play a lot of Half Life, and the "voice" feature in that game -where you can talk to other players on the net while playing, essential for clan play- only detects your mic if there's a slider for it in said mixer. Is there a workaround for this? Failing that, would the Kx people consider adding a windows mic slider to the next version?
PS I have an SBLive but from reading the FAQ this isn't a card-specific problem |

I must say I'm also experiencing this problem. I don't see any information in any of the KX documentation that would aleiviate this problem. Might anyone have a workaround yet?

Hardware profiles
I've ended up setting up two hardware profiles in the "system" dialog of the control panel. One hardware profile has the Creative Drivers, the other has the KX Drivers- I have to reboot to change, but that's not too bad.

The mic-in is controlled from kx drivers mixer panel , but its named ac97 not mic-in since its the ac97 chip that controlls the audio in funktion.
