3532 Alpha: Kx Reset Settings/Global Steeing: Application Crash
Hi,
I have reproduced this bug in the Alpha release 3532: Here you go: 1) Start Ks Mixer if not already started 2) From SystemTrayIcon's menu choose "Settings/Reset Global Settings/Yes" -Anomalie-->Now we notice that 3 entries are missing ( and there should still be there ) from the "Settings" SubMenu: -On Screen Display -Remote IR -OSD Notifications These entries got wiped by the "Reset Global Settings" command, and won't be re-initialised until next program start. 3) Now Choose the item "Settings/Reset Settings/Yes" and the whole application crashes. My guess is that the "Reset Settings" is trying to reset one of the 3 missing entries, which is resulting in a null pointer and then an access violation error. Edit: What is the "OSD" supposed to do anyways? doesnt seem to do nothing, and i searched the forum, i found no answers Last edited by Koolyo; Apr 18, 2003 at 05:55 PM. |
