Hi!. I love kx drivers audio sound, so its the third time I try to use them, but I always get the same trouble (with 3528 and with 3531 versions): It seems there is no problem playing and recording audio files and VST'is usig ASIO driver, but everytime there is a midi part in my songs (or I play midi parts with my keyboard or just listening to midi songs) the sound goes out with a crack after a few seconds and I get this message:
"ASIO: System Overload. The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time. (-10011)" This happens using Magix Music Studio 2003 and also with Cubase VST 32 v.5.1. My songs are audio and VST'is based, and the trouble appear just with a little 10 seconds midi part. (Please, notice that I'm not talking about the frecuent "there is no sound because I haven't charged the soundfonts". I use creative sf banks, which I copied to my new Kx folder. It happens with both 4 and 8 k files) I've got a PIV 1,6 Gh. My OS is W98 SE, and I dont think it's a memory problem, because I 've got 256 kb. This never happened with creative drivers, which I don't want to use again since I knew kx sound! Please, help me not to go back!!! ----Hardware / Software configuration--------------- Driver Name:kX Audio Driver (Debug) Driver Date: Dec 2 2002 02:41:11 Driver Version: 5.10.00.3528 - debug DB Name:LiveBay0x SB0090 10k2 [c000] PCI Information: Device: 41102 Subsys: 511102 ChipRev: 3 Card is '10k2' Card has MPU device Card model is '5.1' Card HAS AC97 codec Codec name: TriTech TR A5/CT1297 TAT 3D Extension: No 3D Stereo Enhancement Codec is 1.0 compliant Capabilities[0] : DAC resolutions : -16-bit- ADC resolutions : -16-bit- Ext Capabilities [0]: Port: c000 Irq: 16 Playback buffer: 20a0 Record buffer: 4000 Number of AC3 buffers: 8 Tank memory: 256 kb ---------------------------------------------------- |

Thanks for your reply, Eugene. After days visiting this and another forums, I just begun to think something happened to my system. It was difficult there was a "bug" like this with such a wonderful software (still impressed with audio). Please, may I unload the system "default" sound card (that that came with the motherboard). Thanks a lot.
