Can anyone help please? I have recently installed the latest version of windows media player (v9 I think). But just like the last version I had, it won't play midi files. the extension I have 4 my midi files is .rmi
I have KX drivers running on Win 98SE with an Audigy soundcard. All other sounds work and I can play soundfonts etc...

I think you'll have to check :
1. Check that you have loaded a General Midi soundfont pack in the soundfont control panel. 2. If the first point is ok, check in the audio control panel that the midi device is the kx synth. Tell me if it's ok... f |

Thanks for the advice. I have no General Midi soundfont pack loaded (just the odd 1 or 2 soundfont instruments from downloads). Where can I get one from?
I use the KX drivers and they are generally OK (better than Creative...which don't work anyway)... Cheers.
