Sound dissapearing after few minutes
Hello to everyone
I know there is a big thread open for notebook problems but no one is participating in it for along time now... So i wanted to ask if somebody found any way maybe to prolong audio playback if not to fix the problem It just very frustrating when audio stops working after only one or two songs were played... So anyone have any suggestions? PS: I have Lenovo 3000 n100 with Audigy 2 zs notebook Thanks in advance & sorry if its against the rules to open thread like this |

Thought I had the same problem, but it turns out I forgot to switch the front and rear speakers (I don't have rear speakers so nothing was coming out).

Ye g0ds I hate signing up for an account just to post a message
Hey, folks, I have this exact same problem. While watching video or listening to music, the sound fizzles out after a while. No particular amount of time...just now and then, everything crackles and pops and then only high frequencies can be heard (like maybe everything over 5Hz), but lower frequencies are extremely low in volume or cannot be heard at all. This issue can be temporarily fixed by turning up the volume all the way on the "Master" screen and then turning up the analog front all the way to +12 on the the "Ins 'n' Outs" screen, and then playing something that's really loud like a rock song. It's like it blasts some crud out of the system and the sound comes back. Then it works for a while, and then dies again. I'm using the latest beta. Using an old Soundblaster Live Value card. XP SP3, Intel P4 w/HT. |
