no sound coming out from fxbus 0/1
Hello.
I have sb0350 and i'm using windows vista. Recently i've installed 3540 and the problem is that even if i select master mixer as default device, there's no sound coming out from fxbus 0/1 (neither from profx's src - i've connected a peak8 plugin to see this), only from 4/5, so i can hear only very quiet sound and is coming from "far away " ![]() The sound is not muted in windows, so i don't know what could be the problem. Anyone having this issue ? So, nobody has this issue ?? i've done further investigations and i found out that under sound settings in vista, when i try to adjust volume with wave 0 and 1 slider, it has no effect at all. So i guess something is not routed where it should be. However, the kxroter seems ok. Last edited by trex_daemon; Apr 1, 2008 at 04:21 PM. |

there's additional issue with FXBus 0/1 on Vista:
Vista -never- allocates stereo output for 'Wave 0/1', and in this case it is always routed to 4/5, 6/7, 8/9 FXBuses... this cannot be fixed at the moment without some compatibility issues... |

Thanks Eugene. I've disconnected the fxbus 0/1 and instead i've conneted to 4/5. Seems to work now this way, only the volume controls aren't, but that's not a big issue.
Thanks again for this great driver. |
