Audigy2 ZS Notebook mutes randomly?

First, I would like to thank very much to the kX development team for adding an analog inputs ability for Audigy2 ZS Notebook. I have installed these drivers previously because of better sound quality, but uninstalled it as soon as I found out that actually I could not record from anything external.
Now the feature is here, recording works great, except that I have found out that "Analog Source" droplist seem to have swapped its options - i mean, it is working the other way than it should. Because if I choose "Mic", I get a stereo sound with 0dB gain, and when I choose "LineIn", I get mono sound with about 20dB gain.
But this does not bother me that much. What really does is that the output of the soundcard (all outputs/connectors) get muted randomly, e.g. I play one song in Winamp and I select another, or watch one clip in WMP and choose another, it does not play, although it "is" playing. Interestingly - I have found out that the "AnalogSource" (LineIn/Mic) remains working (passing thru) even when this happens. The only temporary solution I have found on this is - to remove the card (from the CardBus slot, using "Safely remove...") and insert it again. But this is quite annoying, as I have to do it couple times a day ...

Does anyone know the solution for this, or what is causing the problem?
P.S: This did NOT happen with original Creative drivers.
P.S.2: In case it matters - the laptop is Acer TravelMate 4600 series with built-in soundcard which presents itself as "Conexant AMC Audio" in device manager, and I do not want to disable it because of the built-in mic of the laptop, which I use for Skype (this Audigy2 has awfully noisy "Mic" input!).

EDIT: The driver version used while the above was happening was 3534f. Now I tried to update it to 3538 and the problem got even more weird. When I change the playing song/clip/whatever (start playing some new item) sometimes I get a strange, square-wave-like sharp tone at a constant frequency, at about 1kHz. At this moment, when I stop and start the playback again, the tone usually somewhat changes its colour/volume, or it sometimes vanishes and I hear nothing. Sometimes, when I stop and start the playback again and again, like twenty times, I get the normal sound back, and this is lasting for another two or three songs, and then the constant tone comes again. It always happens when it stops and starts playing - I mean, when nothing is playing and I want to play something. Once it plays, it plays just fine, until stopped or songs change.
Yesterday I have disabled the onboard soundcard, but it did not affect anything.

(Maybe this is not relevant, but long ago, I have had similar problem on the desktop PC, when I had SB Live! 5.1 plugged into Transcend TS-ALR4 mainboard and sometimes, mostly while gaming, the computer froze and a sharp, constant sound very similar to what I experience now, was outputting. But at that time, the PC entirely froze, which is not the case now with the laptop. Later I figured out that SB Live had these issues with certain mainboards and nobody could fix it. So I sold the card and bought something non-Creative
But in this case, it is certainly not that the card is somewhat incompatible with the NB, because it works just fine with Creative's drivers.)

Any help, please? ;-(

EDIT 2:
I have been wondering, what all those "Driver Compatiblity" options are for... so two days ago, I have checked ALL
these options... and voilla, the muting and all those constant tone problems are gone
Yeah, so my problem seems to be solved. Certainly there were some option(s) in that checklist that need to be enabled in order for my card to work correctly with my system. Maybe some time, I will take time and try by try-fail method, which option(s) need to be checked.

Anyhow, kX team... it seems to me a little bit unusual that there is absolutely no explanation for these items in this Driver Compatiblity list. Although am a bit experienced user, almost no option in that list is self-explanatory for me and as I could not find any details about them anywhere, I am a bit confused of what they really are for and when should they be enabled-disabled. It will take time for me to find out which item is the one that needs to be checked in my system... and it would not be necessary if there was some explanation for these items.

Anyhow, thanks again for this great driver that now fully works with my Audigy2 ZS NB:
