kxmixer-trayicon disappears

On my system the kxmixer-trayicon disappears, when shell exits unexpectedly and Explorer.exe restarts.

I think the shell exits because of problems with Pivot7-Software and MatroxG550. But all other trayicons (like GetRight, TotalCommander, Trillian, Outlook or Norton Internet Security) don't disappear!!!

Can you fix this?

This is not an error of kX, it's an error that your explorer crashes in the first place...
all tray icons dissapear when that happens...

there is a program wich can get them back, called PC Magazine's TrayManager 2

works like a dream when explorer crashes, but is not a solution for your explorer crashing in the first place...

some programs have a built in "explorer crash check", many have not...
this is one of those things that microsoft forces programmers to do, because they make their explorer crash...

kX dont have this check, nor should it have IMO, if explorer just would work as it is suposed to... but ahwell, all software has bugs I guess :-)
