i am new to kx driver so if any of this has been ask before... i am sorry
when i play dvd with intervideo dvd, the sound seem to crackle. this happen when there is speech in the movie. usually all the music and effects is ok but u can hear the crackling if there is speech involve. when i use my old creative live driver the crackling is gone. i am wondering is it because of some settings? also, this usually happens after i watch the dvd, not immediately but some time after. the sound would work fine until suddenly the sound would just cut off and/or i would hear a high pitch noise and i won't be able to get my sound back until i restart my computer. ???? may i know is this a known bug and is there any known fix for it now? my specs is as below athlon 1700+xp 512mb ram asus a7v266e creative live value win xp service pack 1 via 4in1 4.47 kx 3533 and i also installed the george latency patch (no idea i need it or not but i seem to have some problems with sblive and their old drivers) other than these problem, kx drivers sound great! |

don't use ac-3 decoding of the driver and use your DVD player instead
(multichannel playback) /Eugene |

select 'multichannel audio' in your DVD application (not 'SPDIF output')
