Could the SPDIF ins/outs be deactivated during Windows Start ??

My problem is this: I have two cards (SB Audigy and SB Audigy 2) interconnected via the coaxial SPDIF I/O. It works fine normally, but there is a big problem: When Windows is starting, until the mixer is loaded, there is weird sound possibly produced by a synchronization issue. Do you understand me?

There isn't a possibilty to solve this problem??

Audigy -> SB092
Audigy2 -> SB240 (think the problem is in this card)
