Unable to install Driver at ALL

Seems that no matter what I do, Kx Mixer tells me

"Error initializing your Audio Card
Please reinstall drivers
If you haven't rebooted after setup - please reboot now.
If kX setup is currently in progressm ingore this message"

Get that when using 3533 driver (or whatever it's called)
Same error when I install 3528 driver

Kx Mixer will hang the system if I don't CNTL-ALT-DEL.
In my device list, the SB0092 is working properly
funny in that I have a SB0090, not a SB0092
Changing to a SB0090 from SB0092 has no effect

Also, install program from 3533 is broken because KXsetup has been placed in a subdirectory - so it doesn't find KXsetup. You have to run it manuallyu.

Regardless, I fooled around for 2 hours manually removing and re-installing drivers, and KX mixer keeps giving me the above.

Running Win 98SE
Oh, and I ran and installed that win98SE fix thingamajig

What the heck is going on here?

I'm not getting to even see the mixer.

I also agree - kxsetup.exe isn't found by the installer. I've spent all day on it!

i also have the same problem driver seems to be fine when i manually install it but nothing happens i have win98se duron 1.3 kt7raid mb directx 9 lots of people seem to have this problem but none of the fixes work some help would be nice
