Error Initializing Audio Card...

I've installed KX Drivers for the first time on Win98SE using a SB Live! 4830 Value, and I get this message every time I turn on my computer and when i want to run kxmixer:
"Error Initializing your Audio Card. Please Reinstall Drivers..."

I've reinstalled the drivers 6 times and still get the same result. Could someone tell me what i'm doing wrong or what the problem might be?

hi...i had that same problem...but when i reinstalled WIN98SE it worked fine...
try that..

I uninstalled the kx drivers, then eliminated the devices from System Properties, then installed DirectX 9.0, and when I restarted the system ¡voila!the sound was working and using the kx drivers. After that I instaledl kx again because it had been deleted from Program Files.
Hope this can be useful for those who are having the same problems.

I had met the same problem,but now resolved.
You can do this,follow me.
After you install kx driver,reboot your machine.Then you will meet the 'Initial...' error,right click 'My Computer',select 'properties',->

in windows 98,'hardware device'
in windows 2000,'hardware'->'device management'

->'sound,video and game controller'->'kX 10k1 Audio-Model CT4830 Value'->'properties'->'drivers'
->'update drivers...'
press 'next' button,select driver from known device list,install from disk...,locate the directory of kx project you installed,in version dir,select kx.inf,next and again ok.Say yes,if ask for your digital sign.
after this,reboot.

If recv a new error-'reset setting...',in 'Control Panel'->Sound and multimedia->Audio,change the setting for your need.

Another,in kxmixer uncheck 'swap front and rear',if no sound.
