AC3 problem

I have Audigy EX Platinum and JazzSpeakers J-9940. as far as i foud out my speakers need an AC3 encoded signal to play through coaxial or optical (digital) port. i set the sample rate in my KX driver (version 3531), then select the SPDIF port i wish to be encoded, but nothing hppens. When i close the window and doubleclick on the KX tray icon the mixer window appears with the default SPDIF settings and sample rate, not the one i selected.

What can i do about it?
i need an AC3 signal to go from my audigy coaxial out
