3549: DSP Prolog Labels No Longer Meaningfully Describe Connectors

In the process to troubleshooting other issues, I installed the new 3549 Drivers last night.

I just noticed that hovering over the connectors of the Prolog in DSP, the pop-up descriptions now generically indicate "in0, in1, in2, in3, in4..." etc.

(on v3545) They used to indicate "Line-in1 L, Line-in1 R, CoAx-in L, CoAx-in R..."

Can anyone else confirm?

Note: This is with WinXP/SP3 on an Audigy2 ZS PlatinumPro

I also tried resetting global settings, and reinstalling kX (in case something went awry from troubleshooting my original issues), and the DSP display remains the same.

Yes, this is the same issue that I reported (with 3548) here: 3548 bug reports - X86 ONLY (post #24)

OK well then... Consider it also confirmed in 3549 on x86, I guess.

Did the tooltips seem less responsive to you too?

e.g.
When I am looking for a particular I/O, I will drag the mouse down across each pin looking for that descriptive text, and now (aside from the missing descriptions), it seems much less responsive then it used to be.

Re: 3549: DSP Prolog Labels No Longer Meaningfully Describe Connectors

I am not sure, it is hard to say... It seems as though the plugin tooltip gets stuck at times (when it is already showing), as I am moving the mouse across a plugin.

i.e.
Sometimes the tooltip will smoothly follow the mouse, and at other times it moves in studder steps. When it is in a stuck state, movement over a pin is missed (i.e. the pin's tooltip is not shown), etc.

Thanks
