Popping sound with Cakewalk Sonar 8
Hello everybody. Thank you so much in advance for helping with this.
I just recently downloaded the kX project and have been experiencing some serious clicking when using Sonar in conjunction with Gigastudio. If I'm just using Sonar to play MIDI through GS, it's fine...there's no distortion. However, as soon as I try to record the music (with samples) in an audio track, playback reveals popping noises throughout the music. I have read through a few different sites offering different ideas such as increasing buffer size in Sonar etc but none of those have worked. I desperately need some help since I have a project due on Monday. Any assistance would be live-saving! Here is my system: Intel Core i7 CPU 2.75 GB Ram running at 2.70 GHZ Audio Card is SBLive 5.1 with kX Project Driver (most up to date driver) Now, the motherboard DOES come with a built in audio card, would that have anything to do with it? However, I made sure that all of my inputs/outputs were listed under the correct card. Thank you all again! |

Re: Popping sound with Cakewalk Sonar 8
I'm having severe popping and scratching as well. I'm running a quad q8200 @ 2.9ghz, 4gb 1066, SB0090 Audigy Platinum. I have a 3.5mm 1/8" jack adapter that converts to rca which goes to my recievers coaxial input. I tried the 3546 x64 driver. How do I download this 3550 driver? I can't find it anywhere.
