Dsp loading in weird ways, cant get stereo recording
Have made a custom DSP, but my DSP loads up different when i boot my computer and i need to manually reload my preset.
Still even if i load my preset i cant get stereo recording from line-input in audacity, or adobe soundbooth, even if i see it showing up in stereo in the VU in MX6....what could be wrong? Last edited by forschi; Jan 11, 2010 at 09:29 PM. |

Re: Dsp loading in weird ways, cant get stereo recording
Did you save your DSP set-up before turning off the PC? ALso, make sure you don't move the plug-ins from one folder to another.
Did you try another set of Asio inputs? Make sure your projects are set to 48000khz, kX Asio will not record at 44000. |

Re: Dsp loading in weird ways, cant get stereo recording
Saved DSP setup, i have to reload it every time i restart/re-login to my user, all plugins are where they initially got installed them, hmmm or are they? where are they supposed to be?
If i completely uninstall and reinstall then that should not be a problem anymore....but so i need to make a new preset then? Not that its a big/complicated preset, just wondering. I'm not recording in ASIO, just made that "branch" as an extra for getting ex. Winamp and stuff to playback trough FL Studio. |

Re: Dsp loading in weird ways, cant get stereo recording
Verify that the cable you are using is stereo.
Verify that you are using the correct jack on the sound card. Try resetting AC97 (via button on AC97 page of kxmixer). Try resetting the device (Reset Device Settings from kX context menu). |

Re: Dsp loading in weird ways, cant get stereo recording
Nothing help me
I have still mono LINE IN most weird thing - when im unplug ALL virtual cables in DSP i still can hear sound from LINE IN like DSP doesn't control LINE IN - but when im connect signals in DSP i have double sound, like flanger/echo and more volume from LINE IN make infinity feedback. Wahtever - one or double sound is always MONO SRY for my english, but im hope You can understand what im talking about. |
