CT4670 in Windows 7
Hi all,
I've just installed windows 7 and the kx 3550 driver for my CT4670. I don't have sound at all. I have 2.1 Speaker mode, Surround off, 2.0 Stereo only. Tried swapping rear/front speaker setup, no luck. Tried different outputs with no luck. Tried these profiles: http://my.kxproject.lugosoft.com/upl...x&details=true http://my.kxproject.lugosoft.com/upl...x&details=true with no luck. It says: "No 10k2 card detected...Please use k1lt or Epilog..!" My profile looks like this: OS Version: 0x6.0x0 [build=0x1772] id=0x2 Driver Version: 51003550 Driver Name: 5.10.00.3550 - debug Soundcard: CT4670 10k1 [dce0] Daughterboard: none PCI ID: device=0x21102 subsys=0x201102 chiprev=0x4 AC97 Codec: TriTech TR28023/CT1297 Any help would be appreciated |

Re: CT4670 in Windows 7
Your card is a 10k1 not a 10k2 so those setups wouldn't work, live cards are 10k1, audigy cards are 10k2. Reset the DSP to default from KX mixer, (right click on the mixer and chose reset defaults)
Did you go to windows audio panel with some music playing, you will see from the VU meters there where the sound is visually. You can also use SPDIF/AC3 as your main out even with non digital speakers...... that's the output several have found to have the best sound.

Re: CT4670 in Windows 7
Reseting the DSP did the trick as well as setting SPDIF/AC3 as the default out.
Setting SPDIF/ACE as the default without reseting DSP didn' work. Thanks man |

Re: CT4670 in Windows 7
I am having the same problem. I just installed windows 7 ultimate and the kx 3550 driver for my CT4670 sound card.
When I click on the SPDIF bypass button in the mixer main window, it will not check the box. Just blinks the screen and leaves no options in that row selected. Any ideas on how I can get sound? |
