Win 7 32 bit + 3550 + SB0102: Playback buffer problems
My system has 1 GB ram so it's not that problem. Output device is SPDIF/AC3 output.
The problem: From time to time, randomly, all applications stop playing any sound. The BASS library, when trying to initialize sound reports a BUFFER LOST error. Restarting the computer makes the sound work again. I pinpointed the error in the playback buffer. It seems kX randomly destroys it. An easy solution is to set the playback buffer to a very small size and back again to the normal size. This reinitializes it and applications start working again (without closing and reopening them).
