Hi there,

I just installed the GREAT KX-Driver, but my TV-Card PCTV Pro stopped working now :-((

I have read that there are issues with ATI ... but why with Pinaccle, too??

I don't want to buy a Hauppauge now because for that money I could buy an expensive SoundCard.

Any workarounds?

I am running SoundBLaster Live! with WinXP and Athlon 1333c

I have same hardware config and it works fine with KX under XP

Except my TVCard is not PCTVpro but PCTVRave from Miro and ATI Radeon graphic adapter.

Be sure you have latest drivers for both cards.

There were problems with XP and Ati Catalyst 3.xx .
Catalyst 3.5 correct these

And also problems with PCTV WDM drivers 5.10 corrected by latest version : 5.50


All this is more than a bit heavy to download but It got my machine working OK again after confusing problems that had nothing to do with KX

same hardware (without stereo & radio adapter), same drivers

they are SHIT ... I am using 4.20-Drivers. They are 100times better because they do use 1% CPU Power.
The new drivers use software to make deinterlacing etc. etc.

The thing is: After DEINSTALLING KX ... everything worked fine again. I even did not have to reinstall the TV Card!

Okay ... then I won't use the kX anymore ...
I need the TV too much.
