I can't reinstall the KX audio...

Hello ..

Well, I uninstalled the KX audio driver 5.10.0.3550 32bit on my computer because I was getting errors on windows boot. Now I'm trying to reinstall again and I can't. Whenever I try to get this message: "Setup Kx hasn't detected any KX-compatible devices. Please try to reboot and re-run the installation program. Make sure your card is suportet by the driver"

I've tried deleting the drivers with Driver Cleaner Pro and Driver Cleaner.NET, but without success.

Please, could someone tell me what really I do? Since I take a few days with this problem and I don't see a solution ... I'm thinking of formatting my pc, unfortunately. : (

I would try re-seating the card in the PCI slot, or move it to another slot.
Make sure that Windows detects the card before trying to re-install kX.

before doing that, try powering off, disconnect the power cable to the PC, wait a couple of minutes (or just press the power button with the power disconnected - this drains any residual power totally)

I've had a sound blaster cards misreport their pci vendor/product ID's, and thus, are not recognised - it's only ever happened with sound blaster cards ... the method above resolves the issue every time

I got the same problem with same version on VISTA...Still didn't resolve this error..
