wireless ms mouse & kx driver

As written on the subject i began having trouble with my MS whireless desktop wheel mouse when i installed the kx drivers with my Sblive value (one of the first came out) on my Win ME pc.
The troubles are the following:
a background noise very similar to an engine at its minimum, but when i try to move the mouse pointer the "engine" accelerates (also when i launch a program or i see the content of my cd-roms),
but the worse thing of all is that now i must use only the keybord to do everithing on my pc, because the pointer of the mouse moves only if i previously use the wheel on it, and i'm almost unable to point the mouse on any precise point (i get to the point after various attempt and using of the wheel); but sometimes the pointer moves horizontally or vertically on its own until the border of the screen.
Please help me !!
