Mic Problem With Halfl-Life

i installed thase kx drivers and they improved the sound quality like 2x better but now the microphone does not work propely with halflife. when i say something it just keeps repeating what i say untill i let go of the push-to-talk botton. is there any way to fix it?

voiceloopback "0"
in console

I am also currently unpleased with the way they have the mic working.
Recording from the mic should be ONLY FROM "MIC".
Not a mix of "what you hear" + "MIC".

Or is there some magical DSP configuration that fixes this?

Doesn't work. (I know him and suggested he come here) We tried everything we could think of.

In the rec page, turn all the way down the PCM/WAV recording level.
