Distorted sounds in GPL

GPL is pretty much the only game I play nowadays, and then it must be the one with won't work right...

I have been using 3534 first release, 3534f and now 3535, and all of those have these badly distorded sounds in Grand Prix Legends. It comes and goes, It might work right until map change etc..

Using wave4/5 as default device won't make a difference. Only way to get rid off it - luckily I can, is to move sound hardware acceleration slider to basic acceleration. Only problem with that is some minor clicking sounds.

Did some research, and this IS a driver bug, or at least is resolved in creative drivers version 3509. This is common problem, as you can see in this racingsim central forum thread.
