driver enabled but not working properly

My system

AMD Athlon 1800+
Motherboard Microstar kt333 VIA drivers 4in1
RAM 512 mb
Windows XP Pro Sp1
Audigy1 Player

I installed 3533 version. No sound. Swapped rear/front speakers. No sound.
Went to device applet: message: driver enabled but not working properly
for mixer, synth and wave driver.

Uninstalled 3533 and installed 3534f.
Same result

Someone could help me through?

P.S. With Creative Drivers all was working...

Hi
did you install debug libs?
Did set acceleration to full in multimedia audio properties?

This is common problem (and documented on KX site) on first KX install

Are you logged in administrator mode? You should have administrator rights to run kx properlu. Have you unninstalled creative drivers before installing KX?

Yes, debug libraries are installed.
Yes, hardware acceleration is set to max.
Yes, I'm administrator on my machine

No sound is coming out.

Now?

Will have to go back to original drivers, I'm afraid

install manually via 'update driver' applet (in the control panel -> administrative tools -> computer management)
make sure you have the option concerning 'digital signature' disabled
