Settings lost after Restart

KxMixer isn't remembering settings after a restart. Once computer is back up and running "Swap Front/Rear Channels" and AC97 Input are both reset to installation defaults.

Ideas?

in most cases the settings are automatically restored

does kxmixer start automatically on system start-up? does it display the splash window?..
try quitting kxmixer before re-booting [you will need to do this once]

After install I configured everything as I wanted it and closed KxMixer. Opening it again would give me the same settings I want it at, until I restart, at which point I need to reset what I described above. But I don't have Mixer at startup and I only open it when I need to change things, but I never thought that this would affect the proper loading/saving of my preferences.

kxmixer is responsible for restoring the settings
you can ask the mixer to restore them & quit by modifying the start-up options
(review command line reference for details)
