Hi
Changing the Asio format (16/48 8+8 to 16/48 16+16 etc) doesn't work in cubase SX2 when you do it from the system tray, (either cubase open or closed). It works perfectly when done from within cubase itself. Latency changes work ok in both ways.

There are some graphic issues in Dynamic Processor 3.1. When you move any fader it produces an stele that becomes a mess. If you close and open it again (not unload) everything appears clean again but when moving something it's the same. Anyway I suppose it should be known by Eyagos more than you Eugene, but I haven't seen him around here lately.

P.S.: I know that somebody reported some latency changes issues when doing it from within cubase. But not here.

Sorry, I had to read it four times to find it. ...getting older...

MINOR BUG
I am sorry, I do not know if this is new to you however I have noticed it in other kX versions; when renaming a dsp plugin, it adds a space to the begining of the name; when renaming again (and not deleting the space) another space is added; etc. I just find it a bit of an annoyance.

automation bug

Automation bug
Im using midi automation to control reverb level in the new EF-X Reverb Station. EF-X midi automation seems to only work if the plug in it self is "open" or minimized. As soon as i close the plugin the automation quits working.

For example:

1. Open Reverb Station and use midi CC to set reverb level to 100.
2. Close Reverb Station and use midi CC to set reverb level to 0 and nothing changes, I still hear the reverb at 100!
3. As soon as I open Reverb Station plug, the reverb level jumps to 0 (or where ever my midi controller slider happens to be at that time.

AFAIK this is normal for all renamed plugs. You also could quit kXMixer and restart it, then the renamed text is visible.

But peak aligning is always horizontal... Is there any way kX remember that peaks should be vertical... Everybody knows it's more natural way of displaying peak meters, so come on people, let's make Eugene consider this opiton...

That is true. But then if I restart the app, all of the windows positions are lost

I wouldn't call it normal, it is better to call it a bug

So that's two bugs (the naming and the position), which AFAIK, might be easy to code, am I wrong?

Anyway, these drivers are out of this world, hope they keep getting better!!

Changing ASIO Channels (2,8,16) OK

Cakewalk Project 5 v1.5
ASIO control panel call from application OK
Changing Latency OK
Changing ASIO Channels (2,8,16) OK

Cakewalk SONAR v2.2

kXi bug

when i open the automation panel by calling it from kXi's only button, the panel overrides the chosen kX device, and chooses the first device (CT4670)

if the DSP window is open in the second device (SB0060), and the automation window shows the first one (CT4670).

as soon as i change the used device in any of the windows, the other one changes accordingly.

using 3538g

can anyone reproduce this?
