There are too many reasons this could be happening without more information. What software you're using, your PC set up, other programs running in the background, etc,. Sound will often skip if another program is launching in the background, or insufficient memory.

This problem never happened before i started using kx drivers..
And inusfficient memory? 1024 mb ram.. shouldnt be that might be because of the background program as i play world of warcraft and liisten to music quite much But that never happened before kx. |

Ahem... once again: we need more info about your system! Otherwise no detailed help is possible! Tell us more about the programs you use, ASIO latency and so on...

You're making it hard for me, as i really dont have any idea about what "Asio latency" is.
Anyway i got windows xp pentium4 3.2 ghz 1024 ddr 260 gb hardrive ati radeon 9800 xt "SB0243 10k2" soundblaster audigy 2 something i got version "5.10.00.3534 - debug" on the driver "Device: 41102 Subsys: 10031102 ChipRev: 4 Card is Audigy2-compatible Card HAS AC97 codec Codec name: SigmaTel STAC9721/23 3D Extension: SigmaTel 3D Enhancement Codec is 2.0 compliant Capabilities[6940] : DAC resolutions : -16-bit- -18-bit- ADC resolutions : -16-bit- -18-bit- Ext Capabilities [200]: -slot/DAC mappings- Port: cf00 Irq: 8 Playback buffer: 20a0 Record buffer: 4000 Number of AC3 buffers: 4 Tank memory: 256 kb GSIF buffer: 256 samples OS version: [2 5 1 Service Pack 2; 2 5 1 Service Pack 2; 156 148] Does this help anything? If not, just tell me what you need to know or you can add me to msn "orangeskal@hotbrev.com" And program i use? Winamp, windows media player? what do you mean?
