sblive ASIO audio stops
don't know if this is bug or config ...
With soundblaster live value (CT4670), winXP .... Using miniHost with a VST instrument - if I play around with is for a few minutes the audio stops - I have to restart the app to get it back ... With Cakewalk with vst adapter and VST instrument it works for as long as i've tested it with "just notes" but as soon as I add midi controller mesages to me VST instrument I get clicks pops, wrong notes ... wong pitch ??? AMD 3200+ ticking over at 5% CPU usage ... Any tips to get this to work ? ----Hardware / Software configuration--------------- Driver Name:kX Audio Driver (Debug) Driver Date: Feb 17 2004 00:43:22 Driver Version: 5.10.00.3537 - debug DB Name:none CT4670 10k1 [a000] PCI Information: Device: 21102 Subsys: 201102 ChipRev: 4 Card has MPU device Card HAS AC97 codec Codec name: TriTech TR28023/CT1297 3D Extension: No 3D Stereo Enhancement Codec is 1.0 compliant Capabilities[0] : DAC resolutions : -16-bit- ADC resolutions : -16-bit- Ext Capabilities [0]: Port: a000 Irq: 0x6(6) Playback buffer: 20a0 Record buffer: 4000 Number of AC3 buffers: 4 Tank memory: 256 kb GSIF buffer: 256 samples OS version: [2 5 1 Service Pack 2; 2 5 1 Service Pack 2; 156 148] ---------------------------------------------------- |

of course it could be that miniHosts has a problem and cakewalk music creator isn't using the ASIO driver - in fact if I tell cakewalk to use ASIO it thinks there is no sound device !
