RecL in Epilog doesn't work, no signal

Kx Users!

after a while using the latest kx driver I had a problem with the Left Rec IN in epilog:

it didn't get any signal at all while the rec R worked.

solution:

- a complete deinstall

- go to -> device manager -> sound, video, and game controllers -> deinstall your kx hardware ( no need to deinstall the game port )

- restart your computer

- install kxdriver again from kxdrv3537-full.exe

Problem solved

the problem appeared suddenly: perhaps too congested DSP settings, perhaps just a bug.

If you get this problem, it´s sufficient to reset settings of kX, uninstalling is not necessary. Alternatively you could use ProFX plugins. They offer greater switching flexibility and do not have such problems. Note: you will loose all corresponding mixer faders, if using ProFX. Check the related threads in the DSP forum.

hi travelrack

resetting of kx settings was done -> no success.

I tried loading several settings ( default, custimzed ).

deinstalling and reinstalling a hardware component is my last choive of fixing a problem.

thank you for the advice using pro FX. where can I get these plugins?

For the older versions simply right click in the DSP "Effekt/Plugin hinzufügen" -> ProFX ->...

I would'nt have searched for others ways to adminstrate, but these plugins look very nice->

Yes, they do, check the ProFX thread here in the DSP forum - lot of info there. I use the Pro´s since the´re available and I´m really happy about their easiness and functionality!!! Thanks LeMury
