strange 'creative ASIO' message
Probably not a kx bug, but thought i'd post to be sure.
when i start Acid Pro 4, i get a message saying "there are no creative audio products installed and running on the system that support ASIO." I click "o.k" and acid loads without problem. i tried my earlier acid 2 version, no message came up. i have APS emu as soundcard. no probs with cubase sx or fruityloops.... although saying that since replacing my motherboard bundle (probs with internet access)i have, i think worse performance in cubase and fruityloops... ie lots of pops and cracles.... i'm looking into it at the mo. The CPU seems to go up to 100% really quickly and thats when i get the pops.(i look at task manager) might be unrelated though? my system is : celeron d 2.8, 512mb ram, foxconn 661MO3-Gmotherboard, maxtor 80gb H.D, Ge force fx5500 graphics i have used the progamme before "kx" loads and its always been ok! tried reinstalling acid again x2 no help. any idea? trev
