sb audigy platinum ex FRONT DOSENT WORK AT ALL!

so start again

i got a audigy platinum ex and my front isnt working, i didnt used it a long time, think 1-3 yeahrs but now with the needing of more line out channels i connected it again, with the kx drivers installed (: but it dosent work any impulses or tipps 4 me?

thank you for ya time

/e1 : when i stick in the headphn jack and aktivate mute sound wen headphones on then it dosent work too

Try to make a short circuit in the DSP between any source of sound and the front output, disable swap speaker function, use ProFX for testing, if no way to make the front output work, then itīs broken (headphone amp blown up, can be resoldered with a new). Have you used the right jack (the green one?)

i will make some photos

i tried this, i connected the rear output with aux in 2 on the front and sticked my headphones on the front panel in, i played some music, and dint hear anything....

ProFX is a programm?

dsp is the part of the driver where i can connect with graphics the way of the sound?

Never opened the DSP window?! Right click kX-Tray -> kX DSP. Inside of it are all routings to the different outputs. Right click inside the DSP area and load under ProFX the FX I mentioned in the upper post. Try to make the necessary connections and check it again. Read the DSP forum to learn a bit more about the DSP.

there is no powercable


there is the firewire port and the fat cable witch cames form the 2cnd card out and in the drive in ...!
