Can't Load The Mixer - Help

I'm running multiple partitions on a machine. On two of the partitions I'm running an old version of the Soundblaster drivers and they work fine. On my music partition I'm running an old version of the KX driver which also runs fine. On my general partition I couldn't get the Soundblaster drivers to load up the mixer so I uninstalled them and tried the KX drivers which install fine but again won't load the mixer.

Help, any suggestions would be great.

Check in device manager of that partition whether your card is recognized by the system or not. Have you got any error messages during installation of kX?!
