Volume faders in kx mixer not visible?!

I'm having a weird problem with my kx drivers: most of the faders in the kx mixer to control recording and playback volume have disappeared! That is, I cannot control for instance main volume at all! This is especially problematic since it it's linked to another recent problem -that is, I'm getting really low output volumes from my computer. Probably the master fader is simply not high enough, but I cannot change it as it is...

I'm using kX Version: 5, 10, 00, 3537 - debug, my graphic card is Gainward Geforce 6800LE (128mb ddr) and I'm operating on XP.

That usually means the xrouting in the DSP is unloaded. Open the DSP, rightclick and click on "Reinitialize DSP" and then on "Re-align plugins".

Thanks, but when I click on "Reinitialize DSP" I get an error message stating:

"Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: C:\WINDOWS\System32\kxmixer.exe
File: f:\projects\emu10k1\.my\kxmixer\kxcode.cpp
Line:180"

Something seems to be seriously wrong here...

I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM AS YOU ARE.
THERE MAY BE A CONFLICT BITWEEN WINDOWS MASTER VOLUME CONTROL
& KX MIXER

I AM ALSO WAITING FOR SOMEONES HELP

Have you installed some plugins that are compiled for the 3538 driver version? If yes, uninstall them and then re-install (not uninstall) 3537 driver.

I TRIED ALL THOSE YOU TOLD TO VISARA.
IN CUBASE SX THERE WARE NO IN PUT FOR RECORDIN

YESTERDAY I REINSTALLED KXPROJECT .
NOW ALL THE FADERSIN THE KX MIXER IS VISIBLE . BUT THERE IS NO OUTPUT
EXCEPT WHEN THE WINDOWS STARTS.

TODAY I INSTALLED 3534F FULL PROJECT
MY SOUND CARD CT4832 K10 {COOO}\WIN98SE\.

NOW THE PROBLEM IS

I CANNOT HEAR ANY AUDIO AT ALL

I CAN HEAR THE AUDIO ONLY WHEN THE WINDOWS STARTS. THAT TO COMES TO HALT WHEN KX MANAGER LOG APPEARS ON THE TASK BAR

I AM ALL THE DAY SCRACHIN MY HEAD .

PLS HELP ME

Travelrec, I haven't installed any kx-driver related plugins at all, so that can't be the problem.

Dj stick, what does it mean to not use the default DSP elements? Anyhow, I hadn't touched the kX-dsp configurations at any point (before the problem started)... they shouldn't just mess themselves up automatically...

What's weird is that I've never had this problem until just now after changing my 3D-card! I've also been getting odd error messages with Cubase SX and Soundforge ("The procedure entry point WMCreateReader could not be located in the dynamic link library WMVCore.DLL)"...

Peculiar... Any hints?
